History of Involvement with Amcor.

Emmerson Transport Limited has been proud to have provided transport and distribution services to Amcor and Kiwi Packaging for over twenty three years.

This involvement commenced with the provision of selected transport services to the Case Hastings operation when the company operated 8 units.

Over the ensuring years the volume of business increased with the awarding of further runs from other locally based transport operators due to higher levels of service and commitment.

Further developments occurred with the decision to out source all transport distribution of Case Hastings with this seeing Emmerson Transport being the sole provider of these services.

The next phase of the relationship was the commencement of storage and distribution of Kiwifruit packaging from Emmerson Transport’s Mt Maunganui depot.

Shortly after this with changes in the paper supply Emmerson Transport was given the opportunity to handle imported paper containers from Australia. This saw the Cartage, Devanning, Storage, management and delivery of paper for Case Hastings become the responsibility of Emmerson Transport.
 
Other developments have seen the cartage of product ex Case Christchurch back to North Island clients in the meat industry.  Emmerson Transport provides transport services for some of these Companies.
